•Research interest: Novel materials for energy conversion and storage solar cells and the coupling of renewable energy resources (hybrid systems).

•Participated in Erasmus+ projects: QESAMED, AFREQEN (local coordinator) and PROEMED.
•Co-authored more than 250 peer-reviewed articles and supervised 15 PhD thesis .
•Teaching: Energy storage, Energy conversion, Photovoltaics (from cells to systems), Concentrated solar systems, RE-integration, Optimization and sensitivity analysis, semiconductor devices, thin film deposition techniques..
•Expertise: Thin film deposition techniques, Scanning Electron Microscopy, XRD (including GIXRD, SAX, Reflectometry), EXAFS, low temperatures
•Coordinated graduate and undergraduate degrees on renewables and nanomaterials (Master degree, DESA, and bachelor).
