Pr. Habbal is an expert in optimization and game theory. His research focuses on new approaches for the treatment of His research focuses on new approaches to the treatment of inverse problems by game theory and multidisciplinary optimization by Nash games. He and his team have developed new algorithms for computing game equilibria by Gaussian processes or for capturing the Pareto front and ParetoOptimal solutions. He is also interested in multi-objective optimization and its applications in industry. Recently, Pr. Habbal is also interested in agent-based modeling and mean field game theory
