Dr. Loubna Mekouar received an M.Sc. degree in computer science from the University of Montreal (Canada) in 1999 and a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Waterloo (Canada) in 2010. Dr. Mekouar is an assistant professor with the College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Before joining Zayed University, Dr. Mekouar worked at AlHosn University and Emirates College of Technology in Abu Dhabi (UAE). She was also an assistant professor at the University of Modern Sciences in Dubai (UAE) for three years. Before that, she was a lecturer at Dhofar University in Salalah (Oman). Dr. Mekouar research interests include trust and reputation management, distributed systems, e-commerce, recommender systems, network virtualization, and the Internet of Things. Dr. Mekouar published several referred publications through her involvement in different research projects sponsored by Bell Canada, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and the Canadian Institute for Telecommunications Research (CITR). Dr. Mekouar is an IEEE member.
