Who Should Attend ?
Applicants applying for the program must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Have at least a master's or engineering degree, preferably in a relevant field such as business, law, engineering, science or technology.
- Professional experience: preferably have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience, demonstrating an experience of leadership, responsibility and success in their respective fields.
- Relevant professional elements: Demonstrate professional practice in a field closely related to innovation, research, creation or protection of intangible assets. This could include roles in research and development, intellectual property management, technology transfer, innovation consulting or related areas.
- Language skills: Be fluent in French and have a minimum intermediate level of English proficiency in order to benefit from recommended readings and intellectual property works as well as international discussions
Scholarship
- A limited number of scholarships will be awarded by WIPO to candidates from developing countries, least developed countries and countries in transition. All scholarship applications are made via the WIPO Academy website.
- WIPO scholarships will be given priority to government officials and individuals working in the public sector such as universities, academies and research and development institutes.

The application deadline for a WIPO Academy scholarship for the Executive Master's Program in Intellectual Property and Innovation is August 30, 2024.
Any application via the WIPO Academy website http://www.wipo.int/academy/en/ will be considered for the scholarship only.
